Your dog is important to us!
Because we care about your dog’s safety and wellbeing, we want to assure you that every effort will be made to make sure your dog’s visit is as pleasant as possible. If your dog’s coat is severely tangled/matted, they are at greater risk of injury, stress, and trauma from the grooming process. All precautions will be taken; however, problems occasionally arise during or after grooming such as:

– Nicks, cuts, or grazes
– Clipper rash/irritation, and bruising (including aural haematomas)
– Physical and mental stress

In the best interest of your dog, we request permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment should it become necessary. We use Greencross Mudgeeraba.

Customer Declaration:
I understand and agree that grooming a matted dog carries additional risk of injury, and that additional grooming fees will apply due to the coat condition and/or behaviour of my dogs.

I also understand and agree to the following conditions:
– My dog may not be able to be clipped to the requested length of coat due to the compacted/matted hair and I understand the groomer will have to clip it to a short length in this case.
– The groomer is only able to provide an approximate quote on drop off. I agree to pay the final balance in full at time of collection.
– If the pet becomes excessively stressed, is too aggressive or is in too much pain during the process of removing matts, the groomer will stop, and I, (owner) will be contacted immediately.
– Vet bills relating to injuries that occur as a direct result of my dogs matting are my responsibility. I will not hold Gold Coast Pups and Cutz liable for vet bills directly linked to the condition of my dog.

I hereby grant permission to Gold Coast Pups and Cutz to:

Obtain emergency Veterinary treatment for my pet at my own expense. Also, realising that matted pets have a greater chance of injury during the grooming process, I will not hold Gold Coast Pups and Cutz responsible for an accident or injury to my pet.

I agree to not to attack/criticise Gold Coast Pups and Cutz or any of its employees, associate or partners publicly (forums, blogs, community groups or any social media).
